| Kelly R. Arnold graduated from Southern Methodist University in 1974. After a two year career in the Canadian Professional Football League he moved to Austin and began a 10 year career in Politics. His professional experience was in the Texas Senate where he was elected to three terms as the Senate Sergeant At Arms. It was during his first term that Kelly gained national attention as the lead person in locating and returning to the Senate 12 wayward Senators. This group became know as “The Killer Bees”. Seeking a new challenge Kelly took a position with Schlotzsky’s Inc., where for 18 years he led the Development Team. In this capacity he learned the key aspects of retail site selection and how key the initial decision is to the long term success of the business. During his tenure with Schlotzsky’s Kelly selected over 300 shopping center sites and developed over 125 freestanding buildings from the ground-up. With a complete knowledge of construction, facility maintenance and a keen eye for quality retail locations Kelly joined Quick & Company in the fall of 2007. Kelly specializes in Construction Project Management under Kraco Management Services LLC, a sister company to Quick & Company. Kelly takes pride in the knowledge that developing a freestanding building from the ground up or constructing a 1500 square foot retail space in a Shopping Center requires attention to details, budget considerations and maintaining a progressive timeline. Kelly will also be assisting the leasing team and representing retailers in their so important site selection decisions. Kelly is a member of the International Council Shopping Centers, Austin Board of Realtors, SMU Alumni Association, SMU Letterman’s Association and the SMU Mustang Club. |
